The “golden” path of Latgale

If you are not sure which path to take, choose the middle one. “Home Café Days” in the regions of Preili, Aglona and Livani will be excellent choice for slow-pace travellers, who love to stay in one location for a while, talk to locals and enjoy a variety of dishes. Guests can visit the small and cute town of Preili, where the town centre boasts the largest urban park in Latvia (42 ha).  At the centre of the park is the Preili Castle, which has undergone large renovation. Visit the Catholic centre of Latvia in Aglona town – the basilica of Aglona and the Mount of Christ the king – a sculpture complex with more than 500 different sculptures. Cosy town Livani is the only place in Latvia, where guests can view surprising process of glass blowing. Guests are also welcomed to use pontoon ferry, as it is a unique way how to cross the Daugava River.
